SIX ‘panic buys’ Arsenal must avoid in January

SIX ‘panic buys’ Arsenal must avoid in January
The January window is just over a week away and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is expected to be kept very busy.
The Gunners have the chance to return to the top of the Premier League table if they beat Chelsea tonight, but if the Emirates boss wishes to keep his side’s title hunt going until the end of the season, he’ll need to reinforce the Arsenal squad when the transfer window reopens.

But with the North Londoners in need of a quick fix in several departments rather than long-term, more costly solutions, the danger of panic buying, especially as we reach the end of January, is a serious threat for Wenger – I mean who can forget the last-minute Park Chu-Young deal a few years ago?
So with that in mind, here’s SIX players recently linked to the Gunners that symbolise panic buying in its entirety. The Frenchman must steer clear from them in January, despite the overwhelming pressure to spend from the Emirates faithful.
