Liverpool ‘want £40million Karim Benzema as Luis Suarez replacement’

Liverpool are weighing up a move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema as they plan for life after star striker Luis Suarez.
Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is weighing up his options after accepting Barcelona’s bid for the Uruguay ace, who is now undertaking a medical with the Catalan club.
The Merseyside club will pocket around £63million for Suarez, and reports in Spain say Rodgers could look to immediately to splash £40m of that on Benzema.

Liverpool know they need another striker to replace Suarez, and with Real continuing to chase Radamel Falcao, Benzema could become available.
