Fabianski rejects improved deal as Polish keeper plans to quit Arsenal this summer

Lukasz Fabianski is set to leave Arsenal after the Polish goalkeeper rejected a new three-year contract.
His deal expires in the summer and the club have been keen to extend his stay - even offering to increase his current £50,000-per-week wages.
But Fabianski does not want to spend another season on the Gunners bench behind first choice Wojciech Szczesny.

The 28-year-old has a number of offers on the table, with Schalke, Basle, Villarreal and Sevilla all keen on the keeper, who would consider staying in England.
Likewise, the futures of defenders Bacary Sagna and Thomas Vermaelen are reaching crucial junctures.
Arsenal will make one final offer to extend Sagna’s contract. The Frenchman has already turned down two offers, the latest a two year deal on the same £60,000-per-week salary.
Sagna wants a three-year deal worth £90,000-per-week to stay. Arsenal are unlikely to meet those demands, but are ready to explore the option of giving the defender a seven-figure signing on fee to make up for the shortfall.

Sagna, who wants his future resolved before the World Cup, is open to staying but knows he can get more lucrative deals elsewhere, namely Monaco, Galatasary and Inter Milan who have indicated a willingness to pay the France international what he wants.
Vermaelen’s advisors have begun the process of lining up the defender’s next move.
The Arsenal skipper has been on the peripheries for most of the season due to Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny’s outstanding partnership.
The Belgian will hold talks with Wenger at the end of the season, but his representatives are making moves to ensure he has suitable offers should he leave the Emirates Stadium.
