The Nigeria midfielder has been released from his

playing time
Nigeria midfielder Gabriel Reuben has been
released by Scottish club Kilmarnock, bringing an end to his three-year
contract that was signed in April 2013.The player moved from reigning Nigerian league champions Kano Pillars to Scotland.
Reuben had requested to terminate his contract after failing to tie down a starting role in the club as a result of an injury spell with less than six months to the World Cup where he hopes to be part of the Super Eagles.
"I'm happy that my wish to leave was granted. The plan is to explore other avenues," Reuben told BBC Sport.
"I wish the club and fans all the best."
Reuben was in the Nigeria squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013 and he returned from a long layoff to form part of the squad that qualified for the World Cup last November.
His agent Tony Harris said that there are lots of clubs waiting to sign him and that “his future will be resolved very soon.”
