West Ham eye Inter Milan striker

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is ready to turn to Inter Milan’s Ishak Belfodil in a bid to solve his attacking woes next month, according to reports from talkSPORT.
The Hammers have endured a difficult start to the season in the final third of the pitch, with big money summer signing Andy Carroll having been unable to make any impact since turning his loan move from Liverpool into a permanent one.
Modibo Maiga and Carlton Cole have been used in his absence, but the their lack of consistency has, on occasion, led to ‘Big Sam’ opting to use a 4-6-0 formation.

As a result the Irons have been relatively poor in front of goal – finding the back of the net on just 14 occasions – which is set to spark them into transfer action in January.
Inter’s Belfodil has emerged as the latest player to be linked with a switch to Upton Park, with the Algerian international struggling to make an impact at the San Siro.
The 21-year-old only joined the Milan giants from Parma over the summer, but could be available for a short-term loan deal after making just one start in the black and blue jersey.
Belfodil himself is keen to play regularly in the run up to the World Cup, which could tempt him to switch to London for the latter stages of the season.
